1. What is TestPrepOnline.com?

TestPrepOnline.com is an online test preparation service provider. We provide you with tools to use to prepare for your state licensing exams in various disciplines (Insurance, Real Estate, Securities Trading etc.).

2. Are there any Pre-Requisites to register to TestPrepOnline?

It is ideal that you finish your pre-licensing education before you use our test preparation services.

3. What is Practice Test?

Practice Test lets you test your knowledge one subject at a time. You don't have any time limit to finish the exam, so you can answer questions at your own pace. This test also introduces you to the multiple-choice testing system used in the actual state test.

4. What is Comprehensive Prep Test?

The Comprehensive Prep Test is a simulation of the state exam. This test will contain the same number of questions as the state exam and has a time limit of 3 hours to be completed. Questions will be asked in no particular order from all the topics covered under the selected license type, and at the end of the exam, you will be graded and shown a score card. This score card will help you identify the topics where you are weak and where you have to apply more time perfecting your knowledge.

5. Do I have to download and install any software to take the tests?

No. There is absolutely no software to download or install. TestPrepOnline is a fully web based interface that you can access using the internet through a browser (Internet Explorer / Netscape Navigator). All you need is a computer and internet connection.

6. Is it necessary to take both the tests?

Yes. It is ideal you start with the Practice tests and then move on to the Comprehensive Tests. These tests are to help you get prepared for the State conducted tests so do not try to compete with it. Low scores are part of the game and is only an indicator how much more you have to learn to perform better.

7. What is the difference between Practice Test and Comprehensive Prep Test?

8. How will I know the correct answer if my choice was wrong?

When you select your answer in the Practice Tests, you will immediately know if it was correct or incorrect. You will also see the correct answer and a brief explanation. Since the Comprehensive Prep Test is a simulation of the actual state tests, you will not be told if an answer is correct or wrong, but will be shown a detailed score card at the end of the test, to let you evaluate your performance.

9. How am I graded on the tests?

You are given one point for each correct answer. At the end of the test you will see the number of questions you answered correct and those answered incorrectly. Your score is also shown as a percentage.

10. Is there a minimum pass percentage?

TestPrepOnline requires you to score a minumum of 80% to pass a Comprehensive Prep Test. The actual State test pass percentage varies from state to state.

11. Do I need to have computer skills to use TestPrepOnline?

Not at all. The simple web based interface of TestPrepOnline ensures you do not have to do more than just point and click!

12. How much will this service cost?
